About Me

I'm an online tutor who helps students build real, usable skills across writing, reading/ELA, math, and science from elementary foundations to high school rigor, including adult learners preparing for the GED. I bring 10+ years of experience working in school settings and 2+ years of tutoring experience, which helps me meet students where they are while keeping progress measurable and consistent. I also support test prep for the ACT, SAT, and ISEE, focusing on strategies, pacing, and accuracy under time pressure. Beyond content, I coach executive functioning and study skills organization, planning, and follow-throughs, so students can actually stick to a process when it matters. With a background in Neuroscience and Philosophy, I keep sessions structured, concept-driven, and practical: we build understanding, apply it immediately, and turn it into habits students can use independently.
