About Me

Hello! My name is Christopher Martin and I am an English teacher for over 10 years! I currently teach American Literature and AP Language and Composition at a private school in the Boston area. My strengths as an educator include my passion for teaching reading and writing, teaching close reading strategies and skills, and coaxing reluctant writers to tell me what they know! I encourage a variety of expressions in student's knowledge, and I love artistic and creative endeavors as well! I've also been a musician for almost 20 years, and love to bridge the gap between traditional writing and songwriting! I hope to hear from you soon.
