I am a proud graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Master of Education in Elementary Education and endorsements as a Reading Specialist and in Structured English Immersion. In my 19 years of teaching, I have taught 1st grade for 4.5 years, 3rd grade for 4 years, Special Education for 1 year, and have served as a K3 Reading Specialist for 11.5 years. Helping struggling students build strong foundational skills and confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my career. I believe education improves quality of life and strive to make learning engaging, interactive, and enjoyable while meeting each student where they are. Outside of education, I enjoy reading, crocheting, cross-stitching, ranching, playing sports, and puzzle games, reflecting my love of creativity, problem-solving, and lifelong learning.
