As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's in English, Software Engineering training, an AWS Solutions Architect certification, and over 10 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in college admissions and English. My core areas are Grammar, Writing (especially college essaysI love helping students shape their ideas into compelling application narratives), College English, SAT/ACT English, and ESL. I create a student-centered, inquiry-driven learning environment that promotes engagement and ownership; lessons are tailored to each student's goals so we can target weaknesses, build confidence, and strengthen application materials. My ultimate goal is to help students discover and amplify their unique voices so they succeed academically and stand out in the college admissions process.

I really enjoy a mix of hobbies that keep my life interesting. Basketball is a big one for me; I love the rush of the game and the camaraderie with my friends on the court. Nature walks are another favorite—I find it refreshing to get outside and just soak in the sights and sounds around me. Tennis is a blast, too; it’s a great way to stay active while having fun and challenging myself. And when I need to relax, I dive into a good book. Each of these activities brings something special to my life, helping me stay balanced and happy.
