As a passionate educator with a Master's degree in History from Sam Houston State University, I have over 2 years of experience in tutoring subjects such as AP US History, AP World History, and Creative Writing. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to express their ideas and develop critical thinking skills. I strive to connect with each student by tailoring my approach to their individual learning styles and interests, ensuring that they not only grasp the material but also find joy in the learning process. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading historical fiction and exploring new cultures, which further enriches my teaching and allows me to share diverse perspectives with my students.
