Daily Doodles

The word “animate” literally means “bring to life.” So Young Animators Camp is designed to bring creativity to life with daily drawing tutorials and loads of collaborative challenges. Campers meet daily with a small group of fellow artists to learn, practice, and animate new themes each day:

First Daily Doodle: Drawing Human Characters

Second Daily Doodle: Drawing Dogs, Horses, and Four-Legged Characters

Third Daily Doodle: Drawing Fish, Birds, and Characters From Air & Sea

Fourth Daily Doodle: Drawing Dinosaurs, Robots, and Characters of the Distant Past & Future

Fifth Daily Doodle: Creating & Becoming Your Own Animated Character

Small Groups, Expert Instructors

Camp sessions feature small groups of 6-9 campers led by an expert instructor, ensuring maximum participation, guidance, and collaboration. Instructors are chosen after an extensive vetting process that includes teaching demonstrations, background checks, and interviews to ensure both subject mastery and teaching ability.

AfterCamp Creativity Challenges

The fun doesn’t stop when the Daily Doodles are done. Campers can head to their camp clubhouse where they can find on-demand mini-lessons and creative challenges.

Unplug Projects

Inspiration comes from everywhere at any time, so Young Animators Camp includes several offline challenges designed to inspire campers’ creativity out in the real world.

Art & Animation StarCourses

Campers will have a front-row seat with exclusive access to art-themed StarCourse sessions led by Audrey Hopkins and other artists and creators.
