Certified Tutor

I received my degree from Cleveland State University. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts and sciences. I would like to get my Master's degree in school administration in the future. I have tutored students from first grade to twelfth grade. My experiences include tutoring English learning students to help them prepare for state standardized tests as well. I have also worked as a classroom substitute teacher. As a substitute teacher,I have worked in both regular and special needs classrooms. I truly enjoy being able to work with a broad range of students. My favorite subjects to tutor are history and reading. My favorite subject is history so I enjoy opportunities to work with that subject. I find learning about the past and how it impacts the present very fascinating. My other favorite subject to tutor is academic reading. I enjoy helping students put the details of a story together to figure out key points.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading and getting out and trying new experiences. One of my favorite experiences was going to see a live performance of the Lion King last summer. I also went on my first retreat last summer. I enjoy reading biographies and historical fiction and nonfiction. I collect Disney pins and figurines as a hobby. My collection focuses on classic Disney characters and movies.
