Certified Tutor

I am a current undergraduate (Junior) at the University of Pennsylvania. I am a B.A. candidate in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations. I currently work for my university as a critical writing tutor in the UPenn Center for Programs in Contemporary Writing - this will be my third year tutoring. I love working with my peers to help them improve research papers and personal essays! I have also worked extensively in the nonprofit sector, particularly with youth aged 11-25. I currently work for an international peace education organization, planning and coordinating programming related to diversity, conflict and resolution, sustainable development, and human rights. I tutor in writing (creative writing, research writing, college admissions essays), Standardized Test preparation (Critical Reading and Writing), grammar and mechanics, vocabulary, and social studies (human geography, political science). I am very passionate about writing and its application across a wide variety of fields! The best thing about tutoring is the way in which a tutor and tutee can learn from each other during a session - open dialogue can help make the experience very impactful! In my free time, I love writing, running, and playing music. My absolute favorite thing to do is travel - I have been to as many countries as my current age, and I hope to keep up with that pattern for the rest of my life!
