I love working with students-- the process of working through concepts, the journey from struggle to the moment that something clicks. My favorite subjects in which to work with students are literature and writing, because those are the subject I like to engage in myself. I am currently working on my master's degree in English at Wake Forest University and beginning a Ph.D. with further studies in literature this fall.
I believe that learning is a life-long process, and one that can be enjoyable. As a tutor, mentor, and future professor, I work under the understanding that patience, positive reinforcement, and persistence are the best ways to work with students and encourage their learning.
