Certified Tutor

I received my Bachelor's of Science in Biology- Secondary Education from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2011. I have taught in high school Biology, Physical Science, Anatomy and Physiology, and Forensic Science at two different high schools over the course of the last six years. I am currently teaching English and Science online to English-learning students ages 5-12 from China, which allows me to travel and work from home, wherever I am!

When I am not teaching, I spend my time doing volunteer work, traveling, enjoying the outdoors (especially hiking and kayaking), and being with family and friends. I have also taken on the challenge of learning another language- Haitian Creole.

Teaching is truly my passion, and I enjoy make learning fun and exciting for my students. It is especially rewarding when I can help a student to gain confidence in a subject area where they previously struggled, or when they even grow to like a subject they didn't before!
