I have a MA in Elementary Education and I'm certified to teach grades K-8. I have four years of teaching experience, six years of tutoring experience, and over ten years of babysitting experience. I love to learn, travel, read, write, cook, bake, and create! I've found that I feel more fulfilled as an educator and mentor in a small-group or one-on-one setting. I'm taking a break from teaching in the traditional classroom setting in hopes that I can find a position that will allow me to use my expertise in a more individualized, alternative setting. I value relationship-driven teaching and the responsive classroom approach. Within the field of education, I'm interested in experiential learning, service learning, and curriculum design. I'd love to find a position that would allow me to use these skills in order to design a personalized "curriculum" or schedule that works for your family!

I love to learn, travel, read, write, cook, bake, and create! I love playing board games, doing crossword puzzles, reading nonfiction, and snuggling with my two cats. I watch very little tv but when I do watch it's usually HGTV or Game Show Network. I've recently become interested in indoor gardening.
