I am a Computer Science student at the University of Illinois. I have studied and learned various teaching methods when it comes to deciding what is the best approach for teaching such an abstract subject. As an instructor, I am committed to learning more effective teaching practices to help students understand computer science. I strongly believe every student is truly capable of developing independent critical thinking and problem solving skills necessary for them to succeed in whatever they want to pursue. Having a strong positive belief in a student is the foundation for developing the necessary qualities lifelong.
