Certified Tutor

My philosophy of education is that all learners are gifted with unique skills that when expose to a
positive educational environment they will grow emotional, physically and socially.
As an educator with more than 15 years in K-12 classes, my philosophy of education is still the
blueprint I use that contributes to be being a successful educator and school leader. Not only did
I provide students with the tools to be great thinkers and how to solve problems, but I modeled
the joy of being an advent reader.
Standardize assessment data when analysis on the local and state level indicated that my
students every school year grew academically 1 to 2 full years. This success rate as a highly
effective teacher was recognized by Bill and Melinda Gates at each of their annual teacher
awards ceremony.
In 2013, I had the honor of becoming an instructional coach for my school district were I
supported teachers in identifying measurable teaching strategies that students in math, reading
and science needed to enhance their learning.
Finally, I continue my passion of teaching and learning by providing academic support to college
students in accounting courses.
My personal belief is that knowledge is the one tool no one can take from you once obtained.
This belief is a tool I have continue to instill in student and teachers on a daily bases.
