My drive is to push students to be the best learner and scholar that they can be. I currently work in special eduction focusing in math instruction. I enjoy teaching math and showing students that it can be conquered. I love to show students how to decode the language of mathematics that will lead to critical thinking skills that will translate to other subjects.
I received my my undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University majoring in Nutritional and Exercise Science. I then continued my education getting my Masters of Public Health with a concentration in Nutrition Education. I have always had a passion to help young adults so I decided to become a teacher. I am now enrolled in a Masters of Arts in Teaching- Secondary Mathematics Education.
I want students to see the potential in themselves when I am working with them.
