Certified Tutor

As a former tutor for the National Honor Society chapter at my high school and for the learning center at Rutgers University, I have been dedicated to helping people overcome their academic struggles at all levels and setting them on their pathway to success. Whether my clients are just starting kindergarten or going back to school for a career change, I have been dedicated to my mission of helping people overcome the same types of academic struggles I have faced while studying computer engineering at Rutgers University.

Throughout my time as a tutor in both high school and college, I have discovered what is now my current teaching philosophy. If there is something that you don't understand, there is something simpler that is in your knowledge base that you can utilize to achieve that understanding. Even the most complicated concepts in the world are composed of simpler concepts that you do understand. I seek to instill in my clients the growth mindset while they seek to overcome their academic struggles, the same way of thinking that I have utilized to motivate myself through similar difficulties that I have faced throughout my education.

As an aspiring software engineer, I have a strong interest in subjects related to mathematics, programming, and logic. On this platform, I am currently teaching mathematics subjects ranging from pre-algebra to calculus and discrete mathematics along with general computer science topics in the following programming languages: Java, C, and Python. In my free time, I like programming, running, reading, volunteering, playing with my dogs and cats, spending time with my family and friends, and sometimes, watching Netflix.
