Hi. I am a history buff, and love reading about it. My hobbies include nature hikes, model trains, antique cars, and Bible study. I am a graduate of Faith Bible College, and am an ordained minister. I teach a Bible lesson monthly at my church where I am Associate Pastor. My wife and I like art shows and music.
I am currently a Resource Parapro working with Special Ed. students in 9th grade English, Algebra 1, and some BioPhysics. I have tons of activity lessons in English, Science, Math, and Social Studies. I have a few not-so-out-of-date textbooks, as well as access to them and related work sheets, activities, games, practical lessons, and computer games and videos.

My method of teaching is comfortable, fun, and attainable. I like to tell jokes and riddles, and will give an unusual news item to start the class.
I use various method, and my favorite is hands-on practical learning. In this, I will use games, real life problems, and investigative articles. I will also use online games such as Ka-hoot. I will use study methods such as the student's textbook, if they have one. If not, I could use my own text resources to help develop study guides. I encourage the student to work with their regular teacher to obtain study materials for us to work with. That way I will know where the student needs help, and will follow up with a text, email, or phone call.
