I have ample experience both as an adjunct and math tutor. I am comfortable teaching classes of up to 40 students down to tutoring a single student. My aim is not only to help students understand mathematics mechanically but also conceptually. I look for opportunities to connect a mathematical concept to something we use in our every day life.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from CUNY city college, an M.A in Statistics from CUNY Hunter college, and an M.S in Data Science from CUNY School of Professional Studies. During the day, I am a full time Data Scientist working in one of the largest companies in the world.
