Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of Missouri Baptist University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus on philosophy and history. I am passionate about English, Writing, and Literature. I have been tutoring students in the campus writing center for the last two years. During my time as a tutor, I focused not just on trying to improve the student's writing but to pay special attention to their own personal style. Writing and language is the vehicle that is used to interact with the world around us, and for my students, it is important that their own voice as a writer is not just improved but heard. My tutoring style focuses mainly on a variety of methods or practices that will best help the student learn, grow, and become the best writer they can be.
