I have been in the field of education since 2002. I have taught in the classroom at all grade levels between grade 1 and grade 12 during that time. I have a master's degree in Special Education Armstrong Atlantic State University in the state of Georgia and a post-master's certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Most recently, I worked overseas in Kuwait at an international school as an Assistant Principal of middle and high school. I returned to my home country, the US, in June 2021, after learning so much about the world around us. I look forward to working with students in a new capacity now that I have made the move back home. I believe that student relationships and respect leads to learning.

Some of my hobbies are traveling, reading, writing, spending time with family and friends, and hanging out with my rescue dogs from Kuwait. I am also currently learning to play the ukulele and renovating an old RV.
