Certified Tutor

With Over 30 years of experience, I am still able to recognize that no 2 students are alike and so teaching/tutoring is a constant new daily experience, varied only by the child being supported.
I am an Educator by calling as well as by profession. I enjoy swimming, walking, jigsaw puzzles, and dancing. I also enjoy cooking and hosting dinners for family and friends. I am an inspirational speaker whose message is living in an attitude of gratitude. Over the past 10 years, I have been actively involved as a visionary of STEM International Schools for Africa. In the classroom or in the board room, I enjoy empowering both students and adults to become their best selves: to strive for personal improvement in every area of their lives. My wisdom and ability to work with diverse individuals is based on cherishing every one of my experiences in life and learning valuable lessons to inspire both myself and others to higher levels. My ability, understanding, and ability to teach all levels of mathematics are unmatched amongst my colleagues. I, not only love mathematics, but I am able to empower the student with the lowest math skills to enjoy mathematics as I teach it with the individual child in mind. Strong math students are a joy to work with, especially as I empower them to not only enjoy and apply math but to transfer their skills to others through peer tutoring. This is a trait that has been praised of me whether teaching elementary students or tutoring college students.
