Hello! I have loved learning about and deciphering literature since high school. For that reason, I went to college to pursue a BA in English and am now working on a Master's in Creative Writing. While in college I lived in Italy and got the opportunity to study the Italian language and literature. Right after college, I started teaching high school English and fell in love with it even though the pandemic provided many challenges. What I love most about teaching is seeing my students make connections in literature or write an amazing poem and seeing how excited that makes them feel.

Hobbies

I love reading books and journaling about them. I have been getting most of my book recommendations from TikTok. Traveling by myself is something else that I enjoy. I prefer to travel solo because I like to take spontaneous trips and meet new people along the way. I enjoy trying new foods and finding the best restaurants in every city I visit. But, one of my favorite things to do is play with my two Goldendoodles.
