I am a dedicated Special Needs/Elementary/Early Childhood teacher and administrator eager to enrich the lives emotionally, socially, and academically of students by imposing a motivational, enthusiastic, and nurturing environment to encourage the development of their skills.

I love working with children of any age and learning style. After receiving my BS in Elementary and Special Education, I have spent the last 34 years teaching in the early childhood classroom through 5th grade modifying and accommodating lesson plans to meet different learning styles. I'm passionate at meeting the individual needs of my students using various tricks in my toolkit and making learning fun, so they become curious to the world around them. I excel in teaching skills for executive functioning, autism, and sensory processing disorder at all age levels. My trainings do not stop in the classroom, but continue in the home with the family to provide consistency for the student to succeed.

My husband and I recently moved back to Charlotte and I want to continue helping students become lifelong learners.
