I am a Grand Valley State University Alumni with a B.S. in Biomedical Science, and a minor in Healthcare Ethics. I have experience applying to Medical school but my career interests have recently changed. Currently, I am pursing a second bachelor's degree online in Communicative Sciences and Disorders; I hope to attend Speech Language Pathology school to become an Educational Speech Language Therapist.
While at GVSU, I worked as a peer writing consultant for 2 years at the Writing Center on-campus and virtually. I also have experience in elementary classrooms working as a substitute teacher and volunteering with the GVSU club Chemocare. As the club president I educated students about what cancer is then worked on a project to be donated to children's hospitals with the students. Additionally, this summer I am working as a behavior technician at Ivy Rehab.
