I have a strong passion for teaching. I think the right teacher can make a huge difference, I have taught and tutored for the last 8 years of my life, and I hope that I will be a good fit for you!
I think the most important thing is finding a tutor that works with your strengths and weaknesses. I like to spend the first time meeting a student really figuring out where the disconnect is with a subject, sometimes the problem is not the new material, but a stronger foundation in previous classes is needed.
Professionally I have mostly tutored math for the last several years, but within my friends I tutored physics and other STEM courses through my academic career.
I have a BS in civil engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, an MS from Stevens Institute of Technology and I am currently pursuing a PhD in civil engineering.
