My name is Sonja Holcombe and I am a 31 year veteran high school teacher, having taught Special Education, Social Studies and English/ Language Arts in the public school setting. I am a life-long learner myself and have a passion for teaching and learning. Since my retirement in 2017, I have worked as a private tutor to several students in the area where I live. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than watching a student's face light up when they finally understand a concept with which they've struggled!
In my spare time, I love to read, scrapbook, make beaded jewelry, and take care of my pets. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
