In the eight years that I have been involved in EMS, I've enjoyed teaching EMT students and new EMTs the various skills and knowledge needed to be successful in the field. As EMS providers, we are seeing people on their worst days and we need to have the confidence and knowledge to care for our patients with compassion and empathy. Outside of being an EMT, I serve as a CPR instructor and am currently pursuing my MD degree. Over the past few years, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Tampa and my Master of Science in Fire/Emergency Sciences degree from the University of Florida.
