I believe education is the best way to invest in yourself and your community. I come from a family of educators and my teaching philosophy is rooted in my values of perseverance, celebrating growth, empathy, and expanding horizons.
I graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Environmental Studies with an Emphasis in Education and Urban Planning. I have recently obtained my Masters degree from the United Nations University for Peace. I have an extensive background in biology, history, physics, mathematics, grammar, and I also speak Spanish and German. I have most tutoring experience in Spanish, English, and environmental science. I love to use creative methods to make education more engaging and rewarding. I look forward to building lasting relations with students and supporting them on the path to being their best version of themselves.
