Certified Tutor

I am a warm and approachable tutor with an electrical engineering bachelors from Saint Louis University and a medical degree from Loyola University Chicago. Tutors helped me overcome difficult subjects, and I'd like to pay that forward. I like to meet my students where they are at, to help them engage with material through vibrant discussion as they set their goals and their pace; we can troubleshoot together to discover what learning methods work best (teach-back, kinetic, visual, mnemonics and songs, etc). I enjoy teaching math topics up through and including calculus, as well as science courses such as physics, biology, physiology, anatomy, pathology, pharmacology. I am fluent in French and English and have excellent literary analytical, writing and editing skills. I am also available to help with productivity strategies and overall career counseling to help with a student's goal-setting and follow-through.
