Certified Tutor

I am an undergraduate student at NAU and will graduate this winter or next spring. I am working towards a master's or doctorate in medicine. I've typically worked with younger kids from 6th grade and down but I would also like to work with high schoolers. I think teaching other students to succeed is fun and not only does it help them but it helps me learn as well. I'm always looking for new opportunities to learn or to help someone learn. I strive to teach in such a way that makes learning the material fun and interesting. I've noticed that when a student is having fun in the subject they are learning the more they understand what they are being taught. I also strive to teach in various ways to help them fully understand the material. My favorite subjects to teach are anatomy and biology because these subjects are very intriguing to me. Outside of school, I love hiking, snowboarding, and learning how to create new things.
