Certified Tutor

Born into a Spanish family in a small English city, I've always understood the struggles of learning a second language. That's why I decided to dedicate my life to teaching and learning, recently graduating from the University of Bristol with a degree in Education. I have a lot of experience in teaching people of all ages and abilities, from instructing martial arts to children and young adults, to private Spanish tuition with teenagers, to acting as a mentor to other University students, to business consultancy at a large energy firm! Teaching is all about connecting with your students and bringing the best of them; in that sense, I have always found teaching languages as the most rewarding work, as nothing is more satisfying than seeing students go from not able to understand a word, to confidently talking about themselves like they've spoken Spanish their whole life! Having once been a keen student myself, I also know that the stress of exams can interfere with learning, and it can all seem a bit overwhelming. That's why with my strong academic and professional knowledge and years of working in the education sector, I've developed incredibly effective teaching methods that maximise student potential and ensure they have the absolute best chance of success. Above all, I prioritise the needs of my students and make sure they are always happy, confident and learning! I look forward to meeting other Spanish learners and helping them on their language learning journey
