Design and technology has had a consistent presence throughout my life. At the age of 13, I designed and sold a product to aid teachers in their use of whiteboards. The profits were donated to a local orphanage in Thailand, near where I had lived. This ethos of giving back to the community has been a concept that I have consistently embodied. I later realised the importance of working outside of my comfort zone, collaborating, and communicating with people from rich, ethnically diverse backgrounds through volunteering to teach English to schools in remote parts of Thailand, such as Ban Mai Lid and Mechai Bamboo School. Equally, my love of solving design and engineering-based problems has brought me to complete projects with international companies like Nord Anglia Education, Starbucks, and Makerfabs and have worked with clients in Thailand, Croatia, China and USA. These experiences have allowed me to develop resilience, self-reflection, confidence, and determination, all of which I hope to develop further whilst establishing new skills.
Growing up, I greatly enjoyed traditional education, however, I always felt it created a simulated environment that limited the opportunity to learn through trial &error which did not properly reflect the real world of work. Thus, I decided to challenge myself by creating my first company at the age of 17, called 8BitCADE. At 16, I designed the 8BitCADE Original, an educational DIY Game Console that anyone can assemble to learn electronics & coding while playing their favourite retro games. The console was then implemented in curriculums at a leading British international school in Qatar, as well as international courses in the UK & Australia. The successful Kickstarter launch of the 8BitCADE XL in August 2020 was a key milestone in the company's history as it represented my adaption to the ever-changing needs, wants, and values of the consumer. This encouraged me to adapt & overcome obstacles, make key decisions under pressure, lead a manufacturing team in China, communicate with suppliers, and solve manufacturing problems in a short time span to fulfil the demand of my customers, while simultaneously completing my IGCSE & A level exams. 8BitCADE has taught me to cope with the academic and personal demands of studying alongside developing innovative products - testing my technical abilities and encouraging agile learning.
Though 8BitCADE has now expanded into 40 different countries and has taught over 5000 students STEM education, I decided to successfully sell to a private buyer in a personal pursuit to learn alongside professionals at the Jaguar Land Rover & study at Warwick University to obtain key qualifications to fulfil the forefront of my goals for the future.
In September 2022, I started working at Jaguar Land Rover. While I was initially placed in a team that wasn't promoting professional growth, I successfully orchestrated a shift in team through networking perseverance and negotiation, to embedded control of Climate, Seat and Body Controller systems where I aided in software development as well as developed internal tools and Rigs for both software and hardware validation. It was during this shift that I appreciated the value of work experience: building confidence, trust, and relationships with my peers in and outside the workplace and networking with experts to expand my knowledge base. I had to quickly adapt and communicate with the more experienced members to provide valuable output and take on multiple high-value projects. I am a prime candidate to join JLR's first internal hardware development team to pursue my goals of learning electronics as well an ambassador for the APEP program to listen to my peers and promote change.

During my free time, I enjoy long-distance running and cycling due to its intense physical demand. However, I have learnt that it requires a great deal mentally, Though I may be exhausted, and my mind is telling me to give up, I have found I am able to push myself further than anticipated.
