Certified Tutor

I am a student currently working towards a degree in Mechatronic Engineering. Prior to this I achieved A-Level qualifications in Maths, Biology and Chemistry.
Throughout my time in school I took every opportunity to tutor other students, and quickly learned I had a passion for teaching. During my time in secondary school, I worked teaching young children at a local dance school whilst also volunteering to stay after my classes at school and assist other students with their exam preparation.
After starting university and extensively reflecting on my own experiences within education, I began tutoring students online. The passion I have for tutoring stems from my own experiences of learning, and I believe there is no better approach than personalised, engaging and varied learning. Due to much success previously, I am dedicated to effective communication and understanding of student's strengths, areas of practice and their own learning goals. This understanding can then be used to plan the most effective scheme of learning, whether working to a deadline or simply learning for enjoyment.
I tutor a number of different subjects however, I am most fascinated by Maths and the Sciences, and I tutor subjects across many levels for any ability.
