Ofsted have commented that I am an effective and engaging English/ESOL tutor. I have over 22 years of experience in teaching, assessing and coaching with critical planning and mentoring skills. I feel that it is of great importance to understand the thoughts, difficulties and concerns of each individual and understand their way of being able to learn, offering dynamic learning experiences to the individual. I am passionate about providing person-centred, valuable learning experiences so that the student can use English to integrate into the desired lifestyle and culture that the English language can be a vehicle for.
I have worked with international learners for many years both in a teaching and mentoring capacity. I am aware of differing mindsets, cultural differences and behaviours. I have the ability to speak a little of a few languages to break cultural barriers and build a trusted rapport that will influence our partnership, through our journey of progression, leading to success!
