Certified Tutor

I am an undergraduate degree holder in BEng (Hons) Chemical Engineering from the University of Surrey and have just completed my postgraduate studies at Imperial College London in MSc Advanced Chemical Engineering.

I am extremely passionate about helping students because I believe that every individual has limited potential that can be extracted, irrespective of their circumstances. Although, I have no background in professional tutoring, I have the success stories and testimonies of classmates and friends alike, who I have helped tutor in specific subjects and areas to help them achieve their goals.

I plan on tutoring 11+ Mathematics as well as both GCSE Mathematics and Chemistry. Maths is my favourite topic to tutor because it is a subject which is ingrained into our everyday lives, no matter how mundane the occasion might be. I find it very fulfilling teaching maths because I personally believe that educating an individual to a very respectable level in maths unlocks a plethora of opportunities for them to achieve their ambitions.

I aim to teach in a way which not just educates my students, but engages them even beyond the classroom and inspires them to do greater things. One key aspect of my philosophy is to adapt a communication style to match that of prospective students, so that we are on the same wavelength, making it exponentially easier for them to assimilate knowledge.

Outside academia, I am very much into sports, including football, basketball and Formula 1. I also enjoy playing a lot of chess, as well as traveling.
