I graduated from Bullerswood School for Girls this year and I am currently a first year student at the University of Edinburgh studying Chinese and Spanish. I have always been very passionate and interested in both learning and teaching others; I believe that education is essential in order for an individual to grow, and I hope to leave a positive impact on students also. Priorly, I was a tutor/mentor for a GCSE Spanish class, where I helped a range of students to improve with their overall Spanish fluency. This was an opportunity I am still very thankful for, as it taught me how to develop my teaching skills. I enjoy engaging with students and working with them in order to advance their skills in the targeted subject, while still making the lessons entertaining for them. The main subjects I can tutor in are: GCSE Italian, Spanish and English Language and A-level Italian, Spanish, English Language and Classical Civilisation, as these are some of my favourite subjects of which I also took during my secondary school education.

My main hobby is language learning; I have always been very intrigued by other cultures and their languages: I am native speaker of Italian, fluent speaker of English, and studying Spanish and Chinese at university. Along with language learning, I am an avid reader: I enjoy all kinds of genre from poetry to modern fiction; I think that reading really helps me improve my comprehension skills and allows me to relieve any stress. Also, I enjoy travelling when possible to experience different cultures and learn more about the world in general.
