Hello! Picking the right tutor for you is really important, so I hope to share enough here to make the best choice for you and your educational goals. I have three undergraduate degrees from the College of Idaho - Psychology, Literature and History and I hold a Masters in Counseling and Educational Psychology from NMSU. I love to teach and mentor others because I still love to learn. I will likely be most helpful in the areas of psychology and written communication (let's call this writing!). I strive to help you make your knowledge USEFUL and applicable in the real world! I have guided youngsters with career choices and I have taught at the college level (Psychology courses). I believe that learning to ask better questions is as important as knowing all the "right" answers. Confidence comes from knowing our strengths but we can only learn those by understanding our limits. And here's a secret: We learn our limits by making mistakes - all a part of learning. I take your goals and your learning seriously AND we may experience some laughter along the way too. As you can see by my profile picture I don't take myself too seriously because learning will likely be both challenging and fun. I want you to be comfortable telling me what is helpful and what I can do better when we meet to learn - together!

I have three too many dogs and I love to mountain bike (not so much with them). I enjoy being in the mountains but avoid tics at all costs. I am fascinated by cosmology and once upon a time I used to hang glide (but never that high). Now the most dangerous activity I engage in is cleaning leaves from my gutters in the fall. Wait, no fall, autumn!
