Certified Tutor

I graduated in 2014 from IU South Bend with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and minors in Early Childhood and Special Education. While living in IN, I was a paraprofessional in Kindergarten, Self-Contained Special Education Teacher and a Third Grade Teacher.

As a paraprofessional, I worked one-on-one and in small groups assisting students with a variety of academic tasks from number recognition and beginning addition/subtraction to sight words and writing.

As a Special Education teacher for K-4, I individualized lesson plans for the individual students I taught, teaching to those created lesson plans and conducting formal and informal evaluations.

As a 3rd grade teacher, I created weekly lesson plans according to state standards and utilized online platforms to enrich and remediate my students learning.

Since moving to AZ, I have gotten my Elementary Education and Early Childhood certificate. I have been a Guide with Prenda, a RBT and I am currently an Early Head Start Teacher.

I believe all children have the ability to learn. It is my job to build a rapport with the child, learning the way they learn, and assisting them in unlocking their abilities.
