Certified Tutor

I am graduating from the University of University of Houston with a major in biology and a minor in ethics. I'm incredibly passionate about biology and life sciences, hence they are my favorite subjects to teach. I've been tutoring throughout my education, starting all the way in elementary school. While I've got an affinity for the hard sciences, studying literature has always been a hobby of mine. It is so much fun to go through readings with my students and see the light bulb go off when the meaning is finally understood. This is especially true with English and Writing. I've had many students struggle with these subjects and in the end it turns out to be their favorite. I believe in an in depth and accessible education for every child. It is one thing to pass an exam and a different thing entirely to truly understand the material. I strive for all of my students to go above and beyond. In my spare time, I enjoy fantasy books and spending time with my family.
