I am currently a Paramedic and have practiced on both the East and West coasts. I have been in EMS for a total of 6 years now spending four years as an EMT prior to obtaining my paramedic Licensure. In addition to my EMS certifications, I also hold a degree in Psychology from the University of San Diego. Everything I have done so far has been because I have had some amazing mentors who have taken time out of their lives to teach me and help me become the provider and person I am today. By being a tutor and instructor for Varsity tutors I hope to start giving back and helping others in the same way that I was helped!

Hobbies

During my free time I love spending time with my two dogs: Nala and Myka. Nala is a five year old rescue Pit bull mix and Myka is a two year old Doberman. Both have high energy and keep me on my toes. Hiking and spending lots of times outdoors is a must, but I also like to spend my fair share of time with a good cup of tea attempting to read a book in between the chaos.
