Bryan
Certified Tutor
I am a graduate of Allegheny College, and obtained Master's degrees in History and in Education from Montana State University and Elms College. I have seven years of experience teaching American History to high school students in Springfield, Massachusetts, and previously worked as an adjunct professor in Montana. I tutor American and world history primarily, and my academic interests include music history, political science, civics, and philosophy. My core belief about teaching prioritizes learning the goals and academic background of the student so that information can be provided in the most meaningful way for the learner; I believe that it is a teacher's role to also actively learn about the student as the student learns their desired content. Outside of academia I enjoy live comedy and improv, disc golf and camping, and spending time with my friends and family.
