I am a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts with a focus on graphic design. I am also a graduate of Wingate University where I received a Master of Business Administration. This is my first year teaching at a public high school in North Carolina, however, I have over 21 years of experience in graphic design, marketing and events management. I currently teach Sport and Event Marketing to 9th-12th graders.
I am passionate about making sure that my students learn subject matter through group projects and research rather than memorizing to take a test.

I enjoy traveling, reading, painting, doing jigsaw puzzles, exercising and spending time with my family. I have been to China, Japan, Mexico, Jamaica, The Cayman Islands, The Bahamas, Germany, Italy, France and Switzerland. I want to go everywhere!
