Certified Tutor

Recently, I graduated with my M.S. in Applied Clinical Psychology from the University of South Carolina Aiken. Prior to this, I obtained a B.S. in Psychology with a Minor in Human Services at the University of Georgia. My extensive training in all things psychology allows me to tutor in any psychology-related subjects at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate level, including (but not limited to): AP Psychology, Intro to Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Psychology of Human Development, Psychopathology, Learning and Behavior, Cognitive Psychology/Neuroscience, Human Sexuality, Intro to Psychotherapy, Cognitive Assessment, Multicultural/Diverse topics in Psychology/Counseling, Social Psychology, Career Counseling, and Ethics of Psychotherapy. Though my professional journey has been focused on psychology and mental health, I also have a passion for foreign languages, especially Italian. I spent three years of my childhood living in Rome, Italy, and am well equipped to tutor those who are looking for help in beginner Italian classes. I have also excelled in beginner French classes and am able to assist in this subject as well. One of my specialties (no matter the subject) is essay writing, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge on how to successfully format and construct an essay that will help you impress that professor! I love helping others to achieve their academic goals and strive to assist students who want to improve in my areas of expertise. I have volunteered with tutoring agencies for local elementary schools in the Athens area such as Whatever It Takes and the Thomas-Lay Foundation during my undergraduate years. I have also helped college and graduate Veteran and Military Service members learn study skills, time management skills, and organizational skills as part of my clinical training in my graduate program.
