Certified Tutor

I'm a Spanish teacher with over ten years of experience, mostly at the high school level through a virtual school in Minnesota. I've also taught Spanish to elementary and middle school students, and I love working with learners of all ages.

I studied Spanish at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and earned my Master's in Teaching from Bethel University. During college, I spent a semester living in Spain, and since then I've continued traveling to places like Mexico and Central America to keep practicing the language and learning about different cultures.

One of my favorite parts of teaching is helping students see how Spanish can be useful and fun in their own lives. I like to keep things engaging and relatable whether we're learning how to describe daily routines or talk about favorite foods. I'm patient, approachable, and I do my best to create a comfortable space where students feel confident trying new things.
