As a dedicated tutor with over 5 years of experience in chemistry, I hold a Master's degree in Chemistry from Ohio State University and a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University at South Bend. I specialize in Organic Chemistry, where I strive to create a supportive learning environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking. My teaching philosophy centers on tailoring my approach to meet each student's unique needs, encouraging them to engage actively with the material. I am passionate about helping students build their confidence and achieve academic success. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading scientific literature and exploring new educational resources to enhance my teaching methods.

I love to explore the great outdoors whenever I have the chance--there's always more to discover when you're a scientist! I enjoy hiking in the woods, identifying wildlife species (especially birds with the Merlin app!), kayaking, biking, and enjoying the sunrise with a cup of coffee (or the sunset with a glass of wine!). When I'm not outside on my spare time, I'm usually reading high fantasy, my favorites being The Lord of the Rings and The Stormlight Archives.
