My dreams and goals by Gianna - March 2026 Scholarship Essay

My name is Gianna and I always dreamed big, ever since I was little. I like to do a lot of things especially when I have free time. I have a passion for singing, acting, coloring, drawing, sports, little crafts, and more! Most of the time I sing, actually I'm always singing to the point my mom gets tired of me singing, for acting I just love to experience new characters and their emotions. When me and my cousins would actually make up these little films and act all together. We would also film them and put them on youtube, which are still up and very embarassing to watch. Ever since then I would love to get into the acting industry and become as big as my role models. My role models in acting are Miguel Mora, Mckenna Grace, Xochitl Gomez, and etc. Now for coloring and drawing are just something I love to do when I'm not busy, it also helps me relax a bit and take a break from my sports. The sports I love are baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, and football. The sport I play at the moment is softball, I love playing softball; I also used to play volleyball when I was in 7th-8th and soccer aswell. I don't play those sports today because I just want to focus on softball but I will love to play soccer and volleyball again, and will. My goals are to become known, I want to become a role model just how I have role models who I want to grow up to be. I want to make kids believe that they can make it and to believe that it is possible in this big world. I am also willing to give my all even if I don't make it I am still willing to at least try. In my dreams I hope either to become a singer or an actress in life. I feel that if I try hard enough I can and believe I can do it. My goal is to become who I am inspired by. I think acting is more than a scene or a play, I think acting is when you're aloud to feel like a different person with a different background and perspective. Which makes me think how cool it is to be a whole different person even if your truely just one person, your still multiple in another "world" or "universe". I also want to become an acter to work with people who inspire me aswell. This is what inspires and make me want to become an acter in life.
