I'm a rising sophomore at Georgia Institute of Technology. I love teaching and got a lot of practice from tutoring my brother. Physics is probably my favorite subject to teach.

I am studying Chemical Biology in UC Berkeley. One of my passions is Organic Chemistry, which I used to loath but now enjoys after taking a year of it. Also, because I like helping others, I enjoys tutoring/teaching students who are struggling. During high school, I have tutored other high students after school on various subjects such as Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Latin. During college, I have held informal review sessions for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry for my underclassmen. I tutored my roommate and one of my underclassmen in Organic Chemistry. Finally, with a Graduate Student TA, I co-taught a Organic Chemistry Lab class section , where I answer questions regarding lab material and demonstrate lab techniques. Currently, I am interested in tutoring Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, and Calculus

Hi! I'm a STEM, SAT/ACT, and language tutor with over a decade of teaching and tutoring experience. I have tutored students in every grade level in K-12 and first and second year college students. I mainly teach Math, Science, Physics, Hindi, English, French, ACT (35 score), and SAT (1560 score), and other subjects upon request.

I'm passionate and interested about the subjects I teach and tutor, and I believe strongly in showing my students how interesting those subjects can be and how enjoyable it is to learn. I've been tutoring my friends, peers, and neighbors since I was in high school all the way until I graduated from ASU this year with a bachelor in Conservation Biology. I'm most comfortable teaching biology, chemistry, physics, math, and history, and I believe that the purpose of a tutor is not to do the student's homework, but to teach them to do it themselves.

I am a student at the Barrett Honors College, a part of Arizona State University. I expect to earn my Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with a focus on physics in December 2022. While my degree has had a heavy focus on physical sciences, I have also completed a variety of coursework in social and life sciences to prepare for my post-graduation plans. After graduation, I hope to earn either a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a Master of Science in Entry to Nursing Practice and begin work as a pediatric nurse. I decided to change my path from mathematics and physics to nursing because I perform best and feel happiest when I am working with others, which is why I am so excited to have the opportunity to be a tutor. I first realized my passion for people-centered work in high school when I volunteered with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to help educate financial donors and newly diagnosed families on the science of type 1 diabetes. My passion grew throughout my time in college, during which I joined a division of a Rotary club, which matches people of all ages with service projects within their local community, became a teaching assistant for a Socratic-seminar discussion and writing course for freshmen in Barrett Honors College, and worked as a student researcher in a physics lab, where I had to collaborate with my colleagues to address research problems and clearly present my specific field of work to others who were less well versed in the topic.

I am a second year student at Emory University working towards a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics. I tutor in all levels of physics and math, and specialize at the high school AP and SAT level. I am a mechanical engineering student at Arizona State University. I tutor algebra, calculus, and physics.

I am currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in pure mathematics at Rice University in Houston, Texas. I tutor a wide range of subjects including U.S. History, algebra, calculus, chemistry, comparative politics, economics, and test preparation. Although I enjoy tutoring in all of these subjects, I especially like tutoring math-related subjects such as high school algebra, calculus, and linear algebra. Outside of class and tutoring, I enjoy golfing, stargazing, collecting foreign coins, and playing the violin.

I am a May 2012 graduate of Princeton University with a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering currently working in Midtown Manhattan as a consultant. In the past I have had a variety of opportunities to tutor - from one on one tutoring for the SAT in high school and peer tutoring in college, to online tutoring students in Korea and and teaching a two month English seminar in Brazil. Although I have a variety of academic interests, my educational emphasis in math and sciences has led me doing the majority of my tutoring in these subjects. I am a lifelong learner, teacher, and researcher in the field of physics. I received a PhD in Physics from the University of Michigan and a BS in Physics from Rice University. I have four years of physics teaching experience at the University of Michigan, primarily undergraduate laboratory courses with an emphasis on electromagnetism, circuits, waves, optics, and real-world applications of these and other physical phenomena. Many of these courses, including one I helped design, focused on helping non-STEM students master physics concepts that may be difficult to grasp in a standard classroom setting. I have tutored in a variety of subjects since high school, but most recently I have spent several years helping students understand concepts and succeed in coursework throughout a large variety of college-level physics topics, from basic mechanics to advanced electrodynamics and special relativity.

I am a sophomore at Washington University in St. Louis studying business. I am majoring in Economics and Strategy and Organization and Strategic Management with a minor in Psychology. I have tutored students in all grade levels. Most recently, I have volunteered at the Biome School in St. Louis tutoring elementary school students. My subject strong suits are ACT and SAT test prep and math. In my free time, I like to ski, play board games and watch sports.

STEM subjects in particular have the reputation for being boring and complicated, but I love that as a tutor I can help students make sense of the topics and find the fun!

I'm not tutoring or buried in my textbooks, you will either find me rock climbing at the Triangle Rock Club, playing Ultimate Frisbee, working on my car, or enjoying the great outdoors (beaches, mountains, forests--you name it, I love it). I am planning on entering medical school at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in the fall. I am enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering PhD program at Rice University which will begin Fall 2020, and I am hoping to return to academia as a professor after earning my PhD.
