I am looking to tutor in the areas of: Math, English, and for test prep. I was an honors student in High School, scored very well on all my tests, and have now earned a scholarship to go to Rutgers University for the Honors Program.

I am currently a junior studying Chemistry and Physics at Rutgers University with aspirations of becoming a doctor and practicing Oncology. I have much experience with different levels of science and mathematics and I strive to help students everywhere understand what they are learning and actually enjoy education as much as I do.
I am a rising junior studying finance at Rutgers University. For high school, I attended Bergen County Academies and completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) program as part of the Academy for Business and Finance. I have a vast amount of experience tutoring different subject material to different age groups, with a specialty in test prep. I tutored a high school freshman in Algebra 2 for a year (helping her get an A), a rising high school senior for the ACT (boosting his initial score by 25%), and groups of high schoolers for SAT prep. I have also worked with younger age groups as a camp counselor and a tutor at an elementary school near my university. I love tutoring because it gives me the chance to help my students reach their academic goals, which I know they care about deeply. I also enjoy getting to know a variety of people and being able to watch them grow as individuals and intellectuals through the tutoring process. Outside of academia, I enjoy sports, music, and spending time with friends and family.
I am an undergraduate student at the Rutgers University School of Engineering studying to be a Computer Engineer. I'm very passionate about teaching Spanish and Music, and am also passionate in teaching Math and Physics. In my spare time, I like to make music, enjoy nature, cook, and learn languages.
I am a highly-motivated fourth-year Computer Engineering student at Rutgers University. I enjoy what I study and specialize in most math and science classes, and I love to mentor as much as I love to learn.
I am a junior currently studying biomedical engineering, and I also following the pre-medical track. I am passionate about helping those around me whenever I can, and I am very approachable.
I am a first year at Rutgers University, studying in a 6 year PharmD program. I always found the best way to learn is through teaching others, so I frequently helped my peers in high school. Personally, I love exploring my love for chemistry and mathematics with others.
I am a sophomore at Rutgers University studying Computer Science. I have a lot of experience working with both younger children and teenagers, as I have been a volunteer tutor for the past four years. Tutoring in English is always fun for me, as I have been an avid reader since I was a young child, and it is a subject that I have always enjoyed. Moreover, I also like to tutor in math and math related subjects, because I myself often struggled with math when I was younger, and I found it very frustrating. Now that I am older, I realize the reason I found it so uninteresting was because it was taught too quickly without any real discussion of what we were doing. I now make sure that all of my students understand the fundamental ideas behind the materiel they are learning, and this allows them to ace their exams easily.
I am trying to say is that I love math. I love doing it, talking about it, and teaching others about it.
I am a current junior at Rutgers University as a Presidential Scholar, majoring in Biomedical Engineering (BME). I graduated from Biotechnology High School in the Monmouth County Vocational School District, where I believe I learned all the fundamental study skills to carry me successfully through my following years to come. When I obtain my B.S. from Rutgers, I plan to go on and eventually get a Master's and Ph.D.
I'm a graduate of a top liberal arts school with a degree in Chemistry and a minor in English Lit. I'm now a full-time tutor here at Varsity Tutors. I typically work with high-school students, but I also work with college students as well as younger students.
