I quickly realized what an enjoyable and rewarding experience being a tutor can be, and I have tried to include teaching in my weekly routine ever since. I believe that every student has the capacity to fully grasp any subject that they put their mind to, and it is the job of the tutor to discover the right way to frame and phrase the material at hand so that it can stick. I truly enjoy helping others in their studies, and I appreciate the opportunity to improve my own understanding at the same time. I graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a BS in both Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, and most of my experience has come from tutoring other students at the same school. My favorite topics to teach have been college-level math and science courses, as well as beginning engineering courses. I like to continually reinforce the fundamentals that I have used in higher-level courses and in industry, and I enjoy discussing the applications of those fundamentals with students who may not have seen them before. I have also spent some time tutoring middle and high school math and science, and that has been a rewarding experience as well..
