My degrees are BS, MS, and PhD. My teaching began while I was earning my advanced degrees, and I enjoyed it so much that I am still teaching biology classes at Tri-C. Classes I have taught include Anatomy and Physiology, Ecology, and General Biology. My favorite subject is ecology because I can study outdoors in forests and streams. I teach the way that I was taught by my favorite teacher. He made the students feel comfortable and made learning fun. I like to describe subjects in ways that make it interesting to the student. I am passionate about learning and I love to share this passion with my students. I love walks in the woods where I can discover new things while I enjoy nature. I also love to read, especially science fiction and fantasy.
