One of my main passions in life is working with other people to solve difficult problems and develop better strategies for making educational institutions work best for them. I've been lucky enough to do this in numerous settings, whether it be as a teacher, counselor, or tutor, and with very diverse populations from many different parts of the U.S. I spend much of my personal time reading and writing, and love talking to and learning from others' interests and abilities in these areas. While I'm currently working on a PhD in Psychology, my interests are really interdisciplinary, which includes thinking about big philosophical questions as well as learning about recent innovations in science and technology.

I love reading and writing, and try to spend as much time as possible outside (e.g. camping, hiking, swimming). I also enjoy any time I'm able to spend with my friends, including my dog, Simone.
